ACE Contracting Group were the only builders willing to build stairs down a very steep ridge to access the river on our property (think Iargo Springs!). Because of this we chose them as our home builder. They always listened to our many questions, explained everything simply and always had quick responses to any calls. Their team are highly skilled and detail oriented, everything was done perfectly and beautiful. The worksite was kept neat and clean. They even finished the job sooner than originally planned! Most of all Shane and Sarah’s communication is the best. A solid 10 out of 10. We love ACE Contracting Group and you will too.

We were very intentional with selecting a builder for our forever home. Out of the 4 builder we had bid our project the Shane and Sarah not only came in with the best budget, but their previous client reviews shared a story. Shane and Sarah not only care about the finish product, or the reputation of their brand, but they truly care for their clients. Our build was a simple design, but did come with some unforeseen challenges. Shane and Sarah were on top of it all and constantly strived to keep communication clear, personal, and fast. If we ever have another build project - or if any of our friends and family do - Ace is the ONLY option.

We had ACE build our custom home and would highly recommend them. Shane and Sarah were so great to work with, from being flexible with us changing our minds, to offering advice or opinion when we're undecided. We didnt have to worry about our build, and we always felt that they communicated well with us. Most importantly, the quality of the materials and the workmanship was top notch. We have confidence that they did not cut costs in our build and we don't have to worry about poor quality. They worked with our budget and advocated for us during the whole process. We are very happy!

Shane and Sarah are simply the best! At the time we were living out of state and had purchased our land back in 2023. When my wife was out looking at our land later that year, she saw the ACE Contracting Group sign and took of picture of it. They had just finished pouring the basement of our neighbor's house being built next to our land. In early 2024 we called them and immediately felt a connection to both of them. They took us on as out of state clients, and they made the process of building our forever home very, very easy. They kept us updated on the progress of our home and also were a big help to us regarding our design choices. Building a house and not being able to go there on daily basis was very difficult for me to do, but they made it very easy for us during the entire process. We moved into our home in late September and when we walked into it, we were both blown away at how awesome it turned out! We would give them 10 stars if we could and anyone out there looking for a quality builder that goes the extra mile for their clients you can't go wrong with them as your builder!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Ace Contracting Group to build our dream home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, the entire process was seamless and enjoyable. Sarah and Shane were absolutely amazing to work with. From the very beginning our needs were their needs. Every request, every idea we had was carefully thought through by their team of contractors. As with most families, life happens, and things do not go as planned. This build was the one big thing we did, that went as planned. It was all due to the organization and incredibly hard work of Shane, Sarah and their ACE Construction partners. Our new home is beautiful and very well crafted. ACE had it completed in an unheard of 7 months, during the winter! We had interviewed several builders for this job. Right from the beginning we had a confidence in Shane and Sarah. A confidence, that we did not feel with any of the other builders. We had interviewed several builders for this job. Right from the beginning we had a confidence in Shane and Sarah. It was potentially a manufacturers issue, but Shane, the electrician and the plumber were all there right away to resolve the issue. ACE stands by their work and they do what they say they will. That's very rare in today's world. My husband and I are so very grateful to Shane, Sarah and all the ACE Contracting professionals. We now have our beautiful dream home, and we could not be happier! We were searching for a custom home builder in the Lapeer area when a person familiar with many of the local builders referred us to Shane and Sarah of Ace Contracting Group. Shane and Sarah have been working with us for over a year now and are with us every step of the way, from seeking pre approval for financing to searching for land to selecting the right house plan and so on. They understand how important it is for us to make right decisions about building a home. They have been patient, honest and sincere as we continue to navigate the processes involved with new home construction. In addition to our desire to build, we continue to search for the perfect piece of land. However, since I am a very selective buyer, our search goes on. Shane and Sarah have accompanied us on our numerous outings to find the acreage that is right for us, at times, in harsh weather conditions. We always appreciate the knowledge they share about the ins and outs of building on each of the prospective properties. Specifically, they share information about road access, availability of utilities, zoning, permitting, soil condition in relation to its impact on the home's foundation and septic system, the best location and orientation of the house itself, and more. We purchased a new home in March 2020 and moved in May. Our first project was a new deck. We hired Ace Contracting to do the work. Shane and Sarah were marvelous to work with. The workmanship was exceptional. The crew arrived each day when they said they would. They paid very close attention to detail and completed the job in a timely manner. We have received numerous compliments on our deck. Our house is on a golf course and many golfers passing by also comment on how nice it turned out. We recommend Ace Contracting Group very highly.

From start to finish we felt very comfortable in our new build. Shane & Sarah were in constant contact with us and we knew each step as it was coming. They answered our questions (there were quite a few) and helped us figure out the items we needed to keep the timeline flowing smoothly.

There are a lot of horror stories out there on the internet and Randy and I are inexperienced clients.
